Our embedded development work covers both established operating systems and low-level hardware development across a range of processor and platform families.

 

Operating systems

Embedded Linux, Windows Embedded and Android are among the key system environments in which we develop low-level software, carry out system integration and implement technical customisations.

What matters is not just whether an application works in principle, but whether the boot processes, drivers, operating system, peripherals and application interact reliably within the target system.

      Yes. We work independently of specific platforms and processors, tailoring our approach to your target hardware, your existing platform and the technical requirements of your project.       Yes. Hardware-related software development is one of our core areas of expertise. This includes GUI development, device-specific applications and user interfaces for technical devices, panels and embedded systems. This ensures that the system foundation, hardware integration and the end-user application are consistently aligned.

      Quality assurance is an integral part of our work. Depending on the project, this includes black-box, white-box, regression and field testing, code reviews and unit tests. In addition, we work in a structured and coordinated manner using agile methodologies where these are appropriate to the project context and to our collaboration with the client team.

      Yes. We provide support with the software-related commissioning of new or existing hardware, the analysis of malfunctions, and technical stabilisation in the field. This includes, amongst other things, start-up issues, driver adjustments, integration errors, system behaviour under load, and the overhaul of legacy software.

      Yes. Depending on the project, we provide support for security-related functions and technical protection mechanisms on embedded platforms. These include, amongst other things, Secure Boot, OP-TEE, operating system hardening, OS security, network security and cryptography-related topics.
