Embedded Linux

Embedded Linux combines a Linux kernel with a tailored root file system for embedded devices. It contains only target-specific components, conserving resources. Tools such as Buildroot or OpenEmbedded generate the configuration from source code. Its open codebase and maintained versions suit long-lived devices subject to the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
